Born and raised in London, Jo Baker ingeniously translated her passion for fine art into an obsession with the make-up medium. Her innate understanding of crafting unique hues and creating magic-hour glows have influenced her foundational understanding of color and texture. Jo was working with M.A.C. Cosmetics and in fashion circles when she was selected by musician Usher to design looks for his world tour. This would eventually relocate Jo to Los Angeles, where she has become a go-to for photographers wanting the perfect mix of fashion and beauty, including Nagi Sakai, David LaChapelle, Max Abadian, Jan Welters & Douglas Friedman to name a few. Her work has been featured in magazines such as ELLE, W, Italian Vogue, InStyle, Dazed and Confused, among many others. Her red carpet regulars include Salma Hayek, Paris Jackson, Natalie Portman, Ruby Rose, Leslie Mann, Emmy Rossum & Teresa Palmer.
